All GSD schools and district offices are closed today due to the power outage. Athletics are not cancelled.
Gervais School District is on a two-hour delay today due to a power outage and toilets not being functional at GMS and GHS. The district may decide to close for the entire day should the weather continue to worsen. That decision will be made by 8 a.m.

We are experiencing a glitch with our automatic attendance dialer today (10/27/25). The system has mistakenly identified all district students as absent today, so all parents are getting automated calls saying their students are absent. Please disregard those notifications.
A side-effect of the issue is that dozens of parents are calling the schools about the issue, which is clogging our phone lines. Please try again if you have other business with your school office and haven't been able to get through. We apologize for this inconvenience to all.

Gervais School District is pleased to be able to fund, through a grant, an evening with keynote speaker, trainer, and author, Fabian Ramirez. Mr. Ramirez is a dynamic, funny, and motivational speaker who will speak on the importance of school attendance and the connection between families and schools. This is a free event with free spaghetti dinner. Free childcare for ages 2 to 10 will also be provided. Please join us on Monday, August 25th at 6:15 in the GHS Cafeteria.
You may also visit the Welcome Center Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm for assistance with registrations.
