Volunteering is a great way to make a difference and support Gervais School District. As a parent or community member, you can support students and staff by providing additional supervision during field trips, assisting in classrooms, sponsoring events, as well as many other activities.

All volunteers must complete mandatory safety training required by state law and pass a criminal background check. Please fill out the volunteer application packet including a valid email address and return to your child’s school office or email to Email Volunteer. Applications must be submitted 2 weeks before the event to allow for processing and approval. You will receive an email with login info to complete the safety training for mandatory reporting of child abuse. This training must be completed before volunteering for any event or program and is required once every school year you wish to volunteer.

You will be notified by email if your application is approved. If you would like to check the status, please email Email Volunteer. Volunteer applications and background checks are valid for 2 years.
