As a precaution, please boil city water before drinking it for the next 48 hours.
The City water system was significantly damaged during yesterday’s lightning storm. The Public Works team has been working overnight to get the system up and running, but the water needs to be lab tested to make sure it is safe. That will take a while because of the holiday.
