Gervais Elementary School Community,
It is with both sadness and excitement that I am sharing this will be my last year as the principal at Gervais Elementary School. I am however, staying in the district and will be assuming the position of Director of Student Services next school year. This position will oversee a number of departments and programs, such as Special Education, Early Childhood Learning (Preschool and Daycare) English Language Development, the Welcome Center and student registration, and more. I cannot express what the last five years have meant for me. I appreciate the entire staff, who are truly second-to-none and have lifted me up to be a better administrator more times than I could ever count. I deeply care for our students, who humble and excite me daily with brilliance and their kindness. Each one of them has a bright future before them and I count myself blessed beyond measure to be a name in an early chapter of the book that is their young lives. I love Gervais and I am excited to serve this community in new ways. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. Thank you. Best,

Con tristeza y entusiasmo les comparto que este será mi último año como directora de la Escuela Primaria Gervais. Sin embargo, me quedaré en el distrito y asumiré el puesto de Director de Servicios Estudiantiles el próximo año escolar. Este puesto supervisará una serie de departamentos y programas, como Educación Especial, Aprendizaje en la Primera Infancia (Preescolar y GuarderÃa), Desarrollo del Idioma Inglés, el Centro de Bienvenida y el registro de estudiantes, y más. No puedo expresar lo que han significado para mà los últimos cinco años. Aprecio a todo el personal, que es realmente insuperable y me ha ayudado a ser un mejor administrador más veces de las que podrÃa contar. Me preocupo profundamente por nuestros estudiantes, quienes me humillan y me emocionan diariamente con su brillantez y amabilidad. Cada uno de ellos tiene un futuro brillante por delante y me considero bendecido sin medida por ser un nombre en un capÃtulo temprano del libro que son sus jóvenes vidas. Amo a Gervais y estoy emocionada de servir a esta comunidad de nuevas maneras. No me gustarÃa estar en ningún otro lugar. Gracias. Mejor,
