Starting May 12th we will be distributing produce and bread products on 1st Street behind the elementary school. We will distribute on Thursdays only from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. or until all the food is dispersed.
Thanks to an overwhelming response to our parent surveys, the Marion-Polk Food Share has signed Gervais School District as a Neighborhood Fresh Connect site. This means that we can distribute produce and some bread products from them once a week. The only requirement is that you sign your name with the number of adults and children in your household at each pick up.
The program will continue after the school year ends, in the same place. We will notify you of the time for the summer distribution before the school year ends.
