Dear Gervais Community Members,
It’s Friday afternoon and the district just completed our orientation for new staff members. It’s hard to believe the summer is over and all staff return on Monday morning for their first meeting of the year! I hope you are able to attend the “Back to School Bash” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Gervais High School on Saturday, August 24th. You should have received a postcard in the mail yesterday. This event will provide opportunities for immunizations, school supplies and family fun.
Next Thursday, August 29th, our buildings will host Open Houses from 5:30 pm to 8:00 p.m. Go to any building during that time to visit classrooms, meet staff and help your student become familiar with their building.

Es viernes por la tarde y el distrito acaba de completar nuestra orientación para los nuevos miembros del personal. ¡Es difícil creer que el verano haya terminado y todo el personal regrese el lunes por la mañana para su primera reunión del año! Espero que pueda asistir al “Back to School Bash” de 10 a.m. a 3 p.m. en la escuela secundaria el sábado 24 de agosto. Deberías haber recibido una postal por correo ayer. Este evento proporcionará oportunidades para vacunas, útiles escolares y diversión familiar.
El próximo jueves, 29 de agosto, nuestras escuelas tendrán Open Houses de 5:30 pm a 8:00 p.m. Para ir a cualquier edificio durante ese tiempo para visitar las aulas, conocer al personal y ayudar a su estudiante a familiarizarse con su escuela.
